LT01S1 & LT01S2 - MAKASSAR STAY & TRANSFER

The best choice: two nights, on the way in and on the way out of Sulawesi. We would wait for you at Makassar International airport upon your arrival and transfer to your chosen hotel or viceversa in private air-conditioned car or coach. LT02S - TANA TORAJA TOUR

DAY 1- Drive up
Upon arrival at Ujung Pandang Airport, set out on the picturesque drive to Toraja. Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare, after a scenic drive with many photo-stops en route. Dinner and overnight in a Hotel in Rantepao.

DAY 2- Classic Toraja
After breakfast, a full day exploring Toraja. First visit Lemo to see rows of tau-tau statues and hanging graves. On to Londa, to see an ancient grave where the deceased are en-tombed. At Kete-Kesu we can see Tongkonan, old rice barns, and traditional woodcarving. Lunch will be served in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

DAY 3- Scenic Toraja
After breakfast, another full-day discovery tour of Toraja, this time visiting Pallawa, Sa'dan, the weaving center, as well as Marante and Nanggala, traditional Torajan villages renowned for their large Tongkonans and rice barns. Lunch in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

DAY 4-Panoramic Tana Toraja
After breakfast, we set out on a full-day trip to Batutumonga enjoying superb views over Rantepao and surrounding valleys. Ideal for a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

DAY 5- Drive back
After breakfast, transfer back to Ujung Pandang. Lunch in Pare-Pare. The valleys of Tana Toraja offer spectacular scenery.
After arriving at Makassar, end of our services either at the airport or chosen hotel.

LT03S - BUGIS - TORAJA TOUR (CT 13)

Day 01- Bugis day
After your arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meeting services. Then, transfer to
Sengkang. On the way we will visit the waterfall in Bantimurung, lunch en route. In the
afternoon we will try to catch the beautiful view of the sunset over Lake Tempe.
overnight in Sengkang where we will enjoy a traditional "Selamat Dinner".

Day 02- from Bugis to Tana Toraja
After breakfast, we visit a traditional silk factory, where women handspin and weave
silk cloth. Then transfer to Tana Toraja via Palopo, lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight
in hotel.

Day 03- Classic Toraja
After breakfast, a full day excursion in Tana Toraja. First visit Lemo to see rows of
Tau-Tau statues and its hanging graves. Then on to Suaya cliff graves then Londa.
Kete-Kesu where we will see traditional Tongkonan houses and rice barns. Lunch in
Rantepao. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 04- Scenic Tana Toraja
After breakfast, another full day Toraja excursion. Today we will take you to Marante,
Nanggala and Pallawa to see fine examples of Torajan architecture. At Sa'dan women
demonstrate traditional weaving. Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Rantepao.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 05- Drive back
After breakfast, transfer back to Makassar. Lunch will be served in a seafood restaurant
in Pare-Pare. After arriving at Makassar, end of our services either at the airport or chosen hotel.

LT04S - TORAJA ADVENTURE WITH WHITE WATER RAFTING (CT 15)

Day 01 - Drive up
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, set out on the picturesque drive to
Toraja. Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare, after a scenic drive with
many photo-stops en route. In the afternoon, we will have a coffee-break on the
Puncak Lakawan. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 02- Classic Tana Toraja
After breakfast, a full day exploring Toraja. First we visit Lemo to see rows of
Tau-Tau statues and hanging graves. On to Londa to see an ancient grave where
the deceased are entombed. At Kete-Kesu we can see Tongkonan, old rice barns
and traditional woodcarving. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in
Rantepao. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 03 - White Water Rafting day
After breakfast, by land-rover we set out over the mountains to the lovely Maulu
River Canyon. A walk about 30 minutes through remote villages trail to the
riverside. Onwards, about 03-04 hours white water rafting with American trained
professional rafting guides. Picnic lunch on the river banks. Late afternoon back to
the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 04- Scenic Tana Toraja
After breakfast, a trip to Batutumonga enjoying superb views over the mountain
and surrounding valleys. Back to Rantepao for lunch. In the afternoon visit Sa'dan,
the weaving centre in Toraja. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 05 - Drive back
After breakfast, transfer back to Makassar, lunch will be served at a seafood
restaurant in Pare-Pare. After arriving at Makassar, end of our services either at the airport or chosen hotel.

LT05S - TORAJA - MAKASSAR QUICK LOOK (CT 11)

Day 1- Drive up to Tana Toraja
Meeting services at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, afterwards, set out on the picturesque drive to Toraja. Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. In the afternoon we will have a coffee-stop at the Puncak Lakawang. Late in the afternoon arrival in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 2- Tana Toraja Classic
After breakfast, we will take you on a full day excursion in Tana Toraja. In the morning we will visit Lemo, where we will find rows of Tau-tau and the hanging graves. Londa has an ancient natural grave where the deceased are entombed with big ceremonies. Kete-Kesu is a traditional Toraja village, where we can see the Tongkonan and the old rice-bams; it is famous for its woodcarving. Lunch is served in Rantepao. In the afternoon we continue our visit to Marante and Nanggala, a traditional Toraja village, known for its large Tongkonan and 14 rice barns. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 3- Drive back to Makassar
After breakfast, we drive back to Makassar. Lunch will be served in Pare-Pare. After which transfer directly to hotel in Makassar for dinner and overnight.

Day 4- Makassar day tour
After breakfast, we take you on a city tour in Makassar. Afterwards transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport for your next destination or back to the hotel where our services finish.
