· MARITAL STATUS: Single ( Yeah.......Yet!!)
· Degree in Technical Map-drawing for Construction (1988).
· PADI OW Instructor number 932755 in teaching status (1998).
· CMAS *** Diver (1991).
· T.D.I. Nitrox diver (1998).
· Skipper license for coastal navigation (up to 60 miles
from the shoreline) and boats up to 20 m. length (1993).
· Lifeguard and first-aid license (1991).
LANGUAGES:
· Spanish, English, Bahasa Indonesia, good level in French,
some Italian and Arabic.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
· In 1993, after working in construction for 12 years, both
in Spain and abroad, moved to the Red Sea to work professionally
in diving:
· Live-aboard "Jadran", Marina Eilat (Israel),
4 months as Divemaster.
· In 94: Moved to Hurghada (Egypt) and worked as Divemaster
in daily diving first, and running a live-aboard operation (MY "Hydrotech
II") in South Egypt later.
· 95: Freelanced as Divemaster in SUBEX Base of El Quseir,
South Egypt.
· Summer '95 to end 97: Ran the live-aboard operation aboard
MY "Ghazala Explorer" for Sinai Divers in South Egypt.
· Having logged 1500+ dives, became increasingly involved
in UW photography and mapping, and with the sponsorship of SCUBAPRO
Germany, self-published the Miniguide to the Southern Egyptian Red
Sea "Diving the South" in English and German, which was
distributed throughout the major travel agencies in Europe.
· 98: Combined freelancing for the Ghazala Explorer, with
special requests like Wreck research expedition aboard MY "Subaqua
I" with Claus Peter Stöll and Udo Kefrig (UNTERWASSER
Magazine), pilotage aboard MY "Tugatsu" for the Mc Laren
team Tag Heuer...
· Published under request a second Miniguide for the northern
area "Diving the North".
· Since 1995 published articles regularly in the following
diving magazines: "Red Sea Magazine" (Israel), "Hurghada
Magazine" (Egypt), APNEA and BUCEADORES (Spain).
· 99: PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and thus able to teach
the specialities UW Naturalist, UW Photographer, Night Diver, Wreck
diver and Drift Diver.
